[minecraft] Terrible graphics, terrible OP, awesome game

Basically what I just suggested
Not quite sure what you mean by this
I assume he is expressing concern over the 1.7 map not having the exact same mods, thus leading to many of his special bricks vanishing/rendering the area uncopy&pastable
Edit:
The ItemIDs at the very least are going to change, whether or not that's going to be user controlled, I don't know yet. At best, it'll all be auto. At the most granular level of control, I'll be doing my own configs from the ground up. I'm tired of having to cross reference a spreadsheet for ID blocks I can use while attempting to keep things contiguous.
Under my assumed scenario, I'll be substituting blocks with vanilla blocks which would otherwise not be used, which then lets me do a regional mass replace at a later date with whatever new ID is being used. I'll be doing the same with CCCS Moskau.
Edit: Can anyone think of a way to make chain looking things holding something in place? I was thinking maybe microblocks, but not sure how involved that would be.
Basically going to be suspending objects from the roof or walls.
Sooo..I saw this Minecraft map in the SE++ thread.
You know, just putting this here..what you choose to do with it is your business.
I think I'd prefer something like this, assuming of course we wanted a pre-baked landscape. To be honest, I don't know if a pre-generated landscape can be incorporated into the server in a meaningful manner. The random terrain generation is one entire aspect of the pack after all.
The only pre-generated map I can think of that would be an ok fit would be an isolated skyblock map that's gated by disarming books in and out.
wimp
Play minecrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaafffffffttttttttt.
Actually speaking of games to sidetrack, I may be diving into wildstar (though really!?! another monthly sub after paying 50 bucks?) soonish.
@Huggles I've built 3 undersea tunnels so far, and miles of road constructed out of a pattern impossible to lay in any way but by hand block by block.
Bitch you come to my house and call me a wimp?
@Radiation you will finish Erebor before getting sucked into a MMO or I swear to god..
Like there is a dream to make a housing district...and other crazy stuff. But right now its throneroom, garden, forge area.
Although I may just start a thing right before I leave, just because.
Mwahahahhaha
Also didn't we have an issue with this previously? WHY WOULD YOU START ANOTHER THING?
Because I'm angry at another thread and I'm taking it out on my loved ones!
That could be surrounded by glass, and make up the 'core' pillar with levels looking into it.
you crazy crazy lunatic.
Put open block tanks in the actual structure, then fill it with liquids. Like destabilised redstone so it can double as a power store
I'm going to do 5 pillars on each side with statues, if you can follow along on what is currently in place.
Also if you are so inclined building a statue of yourself out of rockwool/whatever else would be much appreciated. If we need to we can extend out and make more pillars.
Edit:
I wasn't sure how to post this. Just everytime anyone offered help, I didn't have a set thing ready yet. I do now, and will try and keep a project for people that want to help.
If you fall into @Radiation 's web you'll never escape. You'll be used as a slave labor force until you are fall from exhaustion or lose yourself to insanity!
Also the road thing was all you.
AAAAllllllllllllllllll you.
You manipulated me into making your road!
Then to punish me you made it an impossible to automate pattern!
Alright, to be fair I thought it was just a "design a cool road pattern."
I didn't know you were going to make a road grid for the entire server.
FFRK: 9rRG
Hope you can fly, as that is kind of needed for the area. If not, I'll see what else I can get going (and work on getting power armor jetpacks for people who want to helps).
Also, @Buttcleft going to be terraforming I guess. Or just leaving the ugly cover over. Maybe, we'll see if I change my mind by tomorrow.
Just once, Take the easy way and STOP EXPANDING.
like you're one to talk...
that descend upon him from up above..
The winter Mosque!
Want to play co-op games? Feel free to hit me up!
I was thinking about rotarycraft..The only significant problems you've had with it (to my knowledge) is its power generators being badly laggy. So, Isn't there a way you could disable the recipes for just the power generators, and keep rotarycraft..and just use the Magnetostatic Engine to power specific Rotarycraft things off RF power?
I mean, I understand fully that this isn't a foolproof fix, and there might be factors I'm unaware of beyond things like the Solar Towers sucking up all the tickrate, but There are some really fun things in rotarycraft and I was just hoping to find some kind of happy middle ground but I understand completely if a middle ground is not possible or feasible.
I mean I can manually terraform (it was a task I had already planned for on top), but again if there are tools available and we can use them, then shit yeah!
Voxel Sniper on the other hand is a proper 'paint' tool. I'll look into getting it onto the server. It apparently takes a little bit to get used to and learn how to use it though, but the results are good.
Still would have to terraform a bit, but not as much as I was initially afraid of.
Drown the area in lava so no one can see it.
Which means a significant chunk of my farm was locked up and shut down.
Which explains why my basement has been so..habitable as of late.
Let this be a lesson kids, ALWAYS GIVE THE OUTPUT AS MUCH ATTENTION AS THE IMPUT
@Takel
I have placed everything regarding my reactor but the ore processing in a resonant strong box in your cobble hut, including all the fuel I have and the cyanite reprocessor and the aqac used to supply it with water.
I also have a Rotarycraft ore processing setup that can provide up to 5x return (as opposed to plain ol' doubling) on any fissionable fuel ores you come across which you are welcome to have, but I did not include it because it is powered by a RF>Rotarycraft dynamo that sucks up A LOT of power while running. If you want it but, as I thought, do not have the power capacity to run it even temporarily, I can give you a tesseract to run it off my power, no problem.
And holy crap Heated Redstone Generators are stupidly powerful. A single bucket charged six Hardened Leadstone Cells with plenty to spare...
