I'm curious to see if we ever find out what the whole story about the Halo composer is.
We will probably never know for sure, but the whole 'let go without reason' thing on twitter is weird.
My guess is the guy has gotten more expensive (as he should) and they just want to bring in some unknown person for 1/5th the price. Call me bitter, but most executives would chase a penny rolling down a hill and shove every old person on the way down, because it's just never ever enough money.

Bleh, finally got through Titanfall's Militia campaign. I don't even care that it's the maps strung together with a light story, but having to go through the campaigns to unlock customisable Stryders/Ogres and the nightmare that is finding two campaign teams (on 360) really wore on my patience. The game itself is great, and thank god all I cared about was the Stryder, but geez.

I probably will, but I've done enough waiting in lobbies for one night. I actually went from mission 3 to the last mission with one group, but the server de-synced right at the last mission. Thankfully I was able to find another lobby two missions back.
Since you have to start as the Militia and you have to have two teams of at least four then how the hell are there any IMC players? Or am I misinterpreting how the campaign lobby works.
I would love to have a commentary track for Dota 2, but that would mean Icefrog would talk and Icefrog is nothing if not an Enigma Wrapped in a Mystery
They could still talk about character design and technical things. I think I would enjoy that.
Any sort of commentary on the game design would be weird with how much the game changes over time. Of course a lot of things tend to stay the same, but it feels like anything could change.
yeah, when I first thought of commentary I thought of stuff like why the map is asymmetrical like it is and stuff, hadn't thought of character design

I totally understand not focusing on the campaign because you're a new (technically) studio trying to get their first game out and most FPS players I know never touch the campaign.
But don't gate multi stuff behind the campaign and don't make it online only. Think of those late-adopters who will probably have fuck-all chance of completing the campaign because most everyone has done it already.
You started with the Militia? I had to start with IMC on PC, and got the Stryder for beating that.
Also, you think it's bad normally, try going through the campaign when your router kicks you out of 1/3 of the games you're in. I re-did like every map at least once because I'd beat it, load the next one, then get kicked and end up in a different lobby on the first map again. Had to get that Ogre though.

It doesn't matter if you win or lose the matches in campaign, you just have to play them.
And a lot of people play campaign matches instead of regular multiplayer. At least on PC. You can hit quick play and there are prestiged people all over the place.

Huh, so it decides on boot-up what you have to start with?

Well I know about that first bit, and as for the second bit, I specifically mentioned 360. Finding non-campaign missions on 360 has been no trouble at all.
Upgrade shields. Specifically before upgrading weapons. I always got greedy and put everything into weapons for my first few games and I'd get torn apart pretty quick.
It's important to accept that it is possible, and likely, that you will be completely unable to win because of random unfortunate circumstances. Which can be part of the fun, if you're into that sort of thing.

i think i may have had a dream about it or something
just got this urge to play it
I'm a monster apparently

Not really
And they have a pretty hardcore following in the fighting game community
It seems they are going to announce a Bloodrayne game next week.
Their style would fit super well with Bloodrayne, that's for sure
Their stories are just about as dumb and nonsensical
So that's why it was actually pretty good
Yep
And also, personal preference, but I hate Arc's character design so that was a pig draw for P4A too
Edit: I meant big draw but
oh well
I love titanfall
The campaign is a pile of shit
You should get the Ogre though

Like, good on them for trying to do something new with FPS campaigns
but it was so terrible
Yes.

Not replacing the blobs with character models, but letting you customize the blobs and put clothes on them
I love the little clay blob men
This is literally how I respond when I hear about shit that sounds the specific kind of dumb that I like
Like when Seal Team 666 was announced
MAN that last case was loooooooong

Pause
Make the Shields and Weapons your priorities to take out, you can get tricky with the strategy later in more drawn-out fights
Upgrade your doors.
Or maybe I'm just bad at FTL.
