we're looking for a good vet for our 5 year old pup. nothing fancy, just a good, solid, respected and ethical vet.
looking around on Yelp just turns up a mixed bag of vets with some good ratings interspersed with horror stories. hard to tell the signal from the noise.
so i turn to the fine PA community for help: can anyone recommend a good vet in the Oakland/Berkeley area?

This is the one my mom uses...I've been there a few times with her dogs. It seems pretty great. It's not far from Berkeley.
One of the crap things about moving out of the area was trying to find a new quality veterinarian.
