Custom T-Shirt? What's the best material?

So the plan is to get some T-Shirts Printed up for sale at some shows I have coming up. As I have limited experience with choosing what material a T-Shirt is made out of I figured I might ask you fine peoples.
OBJECTIVES:
-SUPER COMFY
-Limited Image Fade (Gotta get that band awareness out there, right?)
-Don't care about price!

I prefer 100% cotton personally.

Cotton is where it's at. Most quality shirts take a lot of washes to fade, unless you are doing a specialty ink like metallic colors or something like that. Then it's more of a gamble with the screen printing place. Water based inks can be really nice, but being in a metal band, we've mostly done plastisol to keep opacity on black shirts. I definitely prefer at least a 2 color print for keeping the visual interest up, though I've seen black ink on white shirts work, as long as the art is cool enough.
