    I didn't really see it as her yelling at him. She let him handle it himself and then reinforced the idea that she is her responsibility. They both seemed on the same page to me.

    Yeah, Kitty wasn't accusing him of anything. She is looking out for Jean and doesn't want Scott, who Kitty still thinks is unstable, mess up her already delicate state.

    Whether or not Scott acted responsibly in the end, which he did, putting himself in that situation in the first place is incredibly irresponsible. One of the first things you learn when you work with teenagers as an adult is that you never, ever talk to them alone without some kind of supervision. It doesn't matter if anything happens or not.

    I don't really see Scott at fault, though. I see this scene as a parallel to an early scene in the fifth issue of UXM. At that time, Magik was having her Limbo issues, and Scott went in her room, sat on her bed, and played the role of big brother/mentor, very similar to this issue. This just seems to be one of Scott's methods for helping people, and 95% of the time it'll work out fine for him.

    Of course, I don't see Kitty at fault either. She wasn't around for the Magik episode, so she doesn't really know any of this. She's just doing what she feels she needs to to protect her student, and that's a good thing. And, given Scott's response to her, I think he completely understands that and approves of it.

    Well the difference between Magik and Jean in that sense is that Jean is in a far more vulnerable state, and Scott could potentially cause far more damage. She's clearly somewhat into him, which is already bad, and is developing new, unseen powers which given her track record with getting new abilities could be very dangerous. And despite switching to his side, Kitty still thinks Scott is unstable and dangerous and hasn't fully forgiven him for his actions

    My personal MOTW was having to buy 200 stamps for our wedding invites and being surprised by all of them being Spider-Man for the current USPS promotion going on. Spider-Man is my absolute favorite and stamping each invite was that much better because it was the only real part of the invite that felt like a piece of me attached.

    I mean the whole thing was ornate, purple and girly. I got to help a little but what I meant to emphasize was that of this very nice thing, this part really emphasizes me. It wasn't meant to be like I had no say, it was just satisfying to literally be stamping something of me right there on it.

    I technically posted about this in the Comic Creator's thread, but whatever. This is my moment of the week/month/year and it is totally comic related.

    Thanks to FCBD, Of Stars and Swords is currently (and likely for not very much longer) #20 on Comixology's Best Seller list and above things like, say, Amazing Spider-Man and Avengers.
