I have a chromosomal disorder that makes me look like a man. I even thought I was a man for a while, but then one day being a girl made a lot more sense so I started doing that instead.
So I talked to some mental health professionals and saw some doctors and now I am on hormones and living my life full time as a woman. It's pretty wonderful.

I get along with people a lot better. People compliment me and tell me flattering things like, "you're adorable" on a regular basis.

I just finished watching Frozen and it is all about suppression of self and how parenting decisions and parental/social lack of acceptance can force children to deny facets of their identities and adopt behaviors that are deeply psychologically unhealthy

Yeah it not defending you per say...I am sensitive to all this as the people here know I struggle with gender identity. I just firmly believe in being a positive and encouraging ambassador of things people may not understand whenever possible. Totally just trying to keep things positive.
