There was a game show back on the USA network several years ago called Smush where it would give the contestants a two or three clues that would lead to a kind of word chain.

For example:

A New England state + 'Flying Circus' man = Vermonty Python

Former Vice President + Writer of Ben-Hur + World Famous Hairdresser = Al Gore Vidal Sassoon.

Unscrupulous Mega Retailer + 1 Amigo = Wal-Martin Short

Reeded wind instrument + Financial bottom line = Clarinet Profit


You get the idea, right?
