Does anyone know where I can find a recent incarnation and a controller? Play-asia seems to be perpetually out of the controllers and me wants so bad.

    The prices for those controllers are nuts. I'm in no hurry to get one.

    Well, if you're reeeeaally cheap, I can take a few photos of my ghetto PnM controller I made a few years ago consisting of a keyboard, some cardboard, and a half-dozen tennis balls :P

    If you're looking to get an official konami controller...long story short, you're gonna pay out the ass due to having to deal with importers and shipping, and konamistyle's sporadic manufacturing (unless something's changed recently, they only build the arcade-style ones in batches every so often).

    As for the games, there's a number of reputable import game shops that carry the PS2 releases; playasia, yesasia, among others should have a good selection.
