PAX Prime Street Banner Suggestion Contest Extravaganza!!!
Hello everyone,
You probably don't know me, but my name is Ryan and I work for PAX on the Reed side of things. I'm the guy in the falcon picture in the First Party jacket, if you need to see my credentials. I'm also known for collecting Kemper pins like whoa if you've ever met me on site.
Anyway I was getting the street banner paperwork cleared with the city of Seattle the other day and the whole PAX team was trying to come up with new slogans and stuff for the 10 year anniversary. We wanted to shake them up a bit. These are the banners that hang on the lightposts around town and say "Welcome Home" and "This is where it's at, baby" and so on and so forth.

Robert had the idea that we should get the community involved on banner slogan suggestions this time around since it's a milestone. We've already got a few new ones so I'd only need one or two, but if you guys have any especially brilliant ideas, I'm all ears. I have to submit these soon though, it takes a while for the city to approve. I think the mayor personally looks at them or the governor or something.
So if you have a suggestion for a clever or funny PAX street banner, please put it in this thread, and if we end up using it I'll contact you and give you a prize of some sort. Maybe PAX passes or a hug from David Coffman, your choice.

I totally agree with this. "Welcome Home" perfectly summarizes my experience with PAX since it is such a special event for myself and everyone else who attends. I'll try thinking up some other slogans though, but I'm sure that other community members that are more creative than me will come up with some awesome ones.

Yeah there will of course be "Welcome Home." banners, that's not one that we are removing. I don't know if we are removing any, might just add more variety to the mix. Depends what we come up with.
And Dave is excited about the prospect of hugging a winner. He's told me he would be honored and he loves human physical contact.
