My sister deleted it and now my mother is lost it. Anyone know where I could find a list of cool games that a 50 year old might like to play? I want to get her the spider solitair back and a few more to make up for her great loss.

P.S. my sister and I are both over 25 years and old she got in hella trouble for deleting solitaire. I think it's rather amusing. My sister told me about it so the next time I was on their computer I yelled across the house "where's spider solitaire!?" just to rub it in.

If she's got access to a DS, your mom would probably like Clubhouse Games.

Is it the Spider Solitaire that comes default on Windows systems? If so, go to the control panel, Add or Remove Programs, Windows Components and then check the box next to the Accessories and Utilities, then press next and follow it through to reinstall. That should reinstall it.

If not, most stores (Target, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Circuit City, etc.) usually have a section for cheap PC games that your mother might like.

Did she actually uninstall it or just delete the icon from the Start menu?
If she did just remove the icon look for and create a new shortcut.
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\spider.exe

She could have just deleted it from the Start Menu. Go look for it in

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\spider.exe

She deleted it from windows components. She went in there and unchecked all the components that she didn't want unninstalled. Big mistake. Now she'll need to find the CD to reinstall it. That won't be easy
