So I've been with xbox live since it was on the normal xbox. When you signed up then you had to provide a credit card number and an email address, and the credit car was my parents. Since then i have changed emails and i want to get the credit card removed from the account. First question, does anyone know how to change the email that the account is linked up to?(not the preferred email address, the email you use to sign into the site with). Second question, does anyone know if its possible to remove the credit card account from the gamer tag? And finally, is it possible to create a new gamer tag(so there are no more cards or old emails attached) and somehow transfer all the achievements over?(I'm sitting just under 13000 and don't want to lose them). Thanks.
Iv tried their help line thing several times and the people are braindead. And with the new gamertag i ment creating a whole new one and start over, but transfer the achievements to the new one.
You can choose to just rename your tag. it's the only way to keep your achievements. Costs you money.
You can't remove CC#s from a Live account once you put it in. You can either elect to call MS and have them change it to a Silver account, or go get a VISA checkcard and put that in your account instead. You can only replace CC#s with a different, valid CC#.
Your passport email and gamertag are permanently linked, and the only way to unlink is to wait 10 months after you cancel an account (COMPLETELY! not even Silver) and you'll be able to link a new gamertag to that address.

They should be able to fix everything. Changing your name however will cost you ten dollars.
