Howdy folks! That time of year is looming ever closer. You know the time.
You make sacrifices of time and make resistance checks against PAX Pox.

Anyway! PAX Prime is in like... Three weeks? This thread is for everyone who is going or trying to go or will be around but not at the convention, etc.

I am going! I'll be there all four days. Also I'm gonna have a bunch of blank Cards Against Humanity cards for people to fill out for me and sign and include forum names on them. So yeah. Keep an eye out.

Any food or game meet ups happening? Tell us your tales!

    I only got money for one PAX a year, and that's East, but I'll say that Citadels is the perfect game for traveling.

    Tablets are also a good source for games, like Ticket to Ride or Small World.

    Yeah the portability is a big thing for me. Being as I've got the one suitcase I'd rather not have to fill half of it with boxes. Maybe one year I'll make some compact game kit or something.

    I'm hitting all the US PAXes this year, I go to every East and I'm hitting Prime this year and going to the first South in January. I feel it's a good idea.

    I was really thinking about South next year also, but it looks like we will soon need to save up money to get a new car. So boo to that

    Epic Spell Wars is so much fun. If it's your first time in Seattle, try to do some touristy stuff, maybe show up a day early or something. I really dug the underground tour when I visited the city a few years back. Sadly, I can't take time off around PAX this year.

    Sometimes I have ideas for things.

    Right now I still have my kiwi phone! I haven't gotten a US sim card for it yet.

    And data is expensive!

    But yeah, probably will just post in this thread!

    When chat people were setting up a hangout thing for PAX Prime, I compiled a list of everyone's phone numbers and put together import files for android and ios.

    If you want, I could do that again. PM me your phone number and I'll compile them into a list of people going and PM out a file before I get on my plane out to Seattle.

    We've managed to get by just fine with my PMs and number in the past, since Vanilla we often just have a group PM or three and share cell #s there if desired.

    If you're wanting to join in with the phalla community for games of all sorts, or fooding, or whatever (just need some people you know at PAX? cool!) just hit me up.
