HP post beep codes (or: help my computer won't start)

Went to start my computer and it doesn't get past post.
beep code is one short beep, then one long.

Computer is an hp pavilion P6705f desktop. (it's got some years on it...)

Any pointers on where to start looking for the problem or what the beep code means?
Sorry for any typos, not used to typing on my kindle.

    Disregard this. Looks like either my ram worked it's way loose or my video card did. Pulled them and reseated them and it looks like i'm back in business.

    Note to self: Next time, do a little troubleshooting before you go look like a moron on the forums, huh?
