No comments about the heroism of Brian? Well then I shall register and make one. And so now I have. But seriously, go Brian. Yet again more proof of his character for me. Rage issues or not, he's a truly kind soul. Even if his priority here was making sure only Seventeen was safe, his instinct was to protect. As every other child went into panic and fear mode, naturally, he immediately reacted. Confronting a MOUNTAIN LION and alone standing to keep it from getting in.
God I love this comic and all your characters Katie. I knew you were the right one to root for on Strip Search from day 1.
I would like to think that the reason the girl is falling from the rafters in frame 5, is because the cat from the previous comic was standing its ground.
Good to see, as I suspected, that Brian stepped RIGHT up and tanked the lion for everyone, he's such a legend. Although I get the feeling that as dark as Katie has taken this comic... She's not going to have Brian flat out murder a real animal, so I'm guessing he'll just hold it off till it gets bored and walks away.
Great as always, fast becoming my favourite webcomic.
I think everyone is missing the true hero here: Colin!
if not for his superpowers to bolster Brian's brawn there would have been a bevy of brutalized rrrrrrrregular-looking people on the floor... and hanging from the rafters.
i mean, look at the loudness of those fweeps; i'm surprised the dining hall still has a roof.
This is a good moment for us to remember all the injustices and discrimination RLIs (rodent-looking individuals) have to face everyday. It was not their choice to be born with prominent noses, teeth and ears. They have the same rights as we hominid-looking people do. The R word is a derogatory term and it would be consdered extremely offensive to say it in non-academic environments.
You did well in correcting yourself. But maybe a formal apology would be needed, since our RLI friend could have guessed the intention of your biased observation.
Please, people. This world needs us to show more respect and inclusion. Don't let the sh*tlords take over the webcomic medium!!!
On the inward / outward door debate ... I believe most external doors open outwards (harder to break in), but most internal doors open inwards (so you don't bash people walking past.)
People who live in apartments may consider their front door to be "external" as it is where their "property" ends and the communal property begins. But it will likely open inwards because it is internal to the building. Also it's not nice to bash your neighbours

Also, what came first? The boulder or the cafeteria? Was it terrible planning or the ultimate prank?
Pins!

and the boulder at the back door - molepeople
But one oversized kitty should be nothing to the guy who singlehandedly wiped all the bears off the map, right?
WTF, though? Wildcat at the front door, boulder blocking the back door... is someone trying to kill the campers off?
Freak.
...
Guys?
Right?
