Yakuza (Ryu Ga Gotoku) Zero announced [PS3/PS4]
Chikai no Basho, or 'The Promised Place' as I put it.
(Every joke you could possibly make about the odds of a US release has probably already been made somewhere.)
The story is probably about pre-jail Kiryu breaking faces.

This will be the 7th Yakuza game to not make it to the west.
// Switch: SW-5306-0651-6424 //
The first protagonist is a 20-year old Kazuma Kiryu, at a time when he was a youth that worked part-time as a debt collector for the Tojo Clan.
The second protagonist is Goro Majima, when he was 24-years old and made a cabaret club the most popular in Soutenburi before it closed down.
Looks like I'll be importing, playing with a translation guide, and watching subtitled cutscenes.
Because of course, Sega is going to deny the west a game where Majima has a staring role.

Anyway, requisite "Fuck you Sega, I have all of my money right here, ready to throw at you" blah blah blah.
Goddamnit Sega.
God, this is a fucking depressing figure that I didn't believe at first. But, no:
Black Panther 1, Black Panther 2, HD Collection, Kenzan, Yakuza 5, Ishin and now this.
What the ever-loving fuck, Sega?
Kiryu doesn't look that much younger...
