I feel very very stupid right now. Please help unstupidify me. (PS4 AC adapter/power cord)

Google Fu is a fail.

So I have been cleaning my bedroom out in preparation to move soon. About half of my bedroom is wires. Seriously, my room looks like that scene in Serial Experiments Lain.

When all was said and done, I expect the Law of Conservation of Wires to apply, but either physics has gone out the window or the PS4 does not have a brick-like AC adapter. I have scoured every nook, cranny, crevice, crevasse, and orifice in my room (including myself and visitors) and I cannot find any AC adapter or brick related to the PS4.

I also can't seem to find this answer online.

What I do have are an extraordinary (and I mean that literally) number of "Sony" wires - the ones with the two circular plug openings at one end of the cable. However, I have so many Sony components at this point (PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, Vita, PSP, etc.) many of which use this wire, I have no way to trace it back to the PS4. The PS4 itself has exactly that kind of plug on the back. Is that all it is? A wire? No brick? I hope to god so lest some gremlin stole my PS4 power adapter in the night.

Granted I could have plugged one of those wires in and tried it in half the time it took to write and post this but my PS4 is like a foot farther away from me than my keyboard was so that would have been a lot more work for me.

Thanks.

The PS4 does not have a brick-like AC adapter. It's just a cord. Looks like this:
    12-196-305-TS?$S300$

    Same cord as PS3 slims.

EDIT: The official ones don't have a "ridge" down the middle of the cord itself. They are just flat, oval, and black. And again, you can use the cord from a PS3 slim, if you want. They are the same cord.

From a quick google search for PS4 Power Supply, it looks like it's an internal power supply, so no brick.

No brick! I unboxed mine last night and was just as surprised. It's just the circular plug, no brick!

    AFAIK the PS4 has an internal PSU, I think (I don't own a PS4).

Has the PlayStation console ecosystem, like, ever had an external power brick? Maybe the PS1 or the PS2 Slim?

This is what is great about Sony systems. Everything is nice and neat. I wish the PS4 had the side loader like the PS3 revision. I like being able to get the disc without turning the system back on.

Yeah the universal power cable is nice, I bought like 4 cheap ones on Amazon for about 8 bucks total and just have them hooked up to outlets around every TV in my house so I can just grab the console and plug it in wherever.

Same goes for the XBox One, but it's a standard PC power cable that goes into the brick so the brick has to come with the console as well when I move it.
