Preferably comics. I'm looking for stuff with impressionist environments/inking and visually aggressive designs/lines/compositions, surrealism is a plus, with an emphasis on visual storytelling.
The more impressionist the better.
Note: I didn't say anything about the subject matter, I'm looking for art that is consistent with the description, not the subject matter. It can be anything from non fiction to romantic comedy.
