I dont really know what im expecting

I realise this is barely an image and mainly just a collection of poorly aped techniques, but I dunno, you guys always have good stuff to say, not sure what im asking for. I havent been doing this long, and my god colouring with a mouse sucks, my wrist hurts.

I used to doodle all the time in high school and just wondering if this is a good start in Digital work, its my first serious attempt, but I think it ended up more as an image in which i've salvaged what I could from an ink scribble, using 'mimicked' techniques without any real understanding of the concepts behind them.

Also this was the original ink, I sort of chose it cos it was unobtrusive so it allowed me space to screw up and experiment.

Yeah it sucks to do with a mouse. Im kind of realising what i need to do to improve and such, aside from getting a tablet, so I guess this thread was basically a look at me exercise.

Oh. Um, a kind of mech dude, explosion behind him, and its tearing his armour and stuff up. Yar. Confusing? Do you mean the image is to loud and unfocused? Or im guessing you were just wondering what it is. You can chalk that up to my poor drawing skills.

hey, i draw everything with a mouse! its just a matter of personal preferance if you ask me, ive started comparing drawing with a mouse to using a spraycan.

anyway, i think you might have overdid it with the contrast, i GUESS that whats there looks really cool, but its really hard to make out.
