Nothing worse in fantasy than losing a game by less than 1 point in the last 20 seconds of the week on a field goal.

    well that was fun!

it would probably have been better if I had any investment in the outcome, but live football is still goodtimes

To motivate his team, Tony Sparano had them bury a football at practice.

Just bury it in the dirt for some reason.

Can the Raiders just have something normal happen to them for once?

I almost feel sorry for them at this point, and I fucking hate them.

I beg to differ....you could have been a position to win on any one of the Harvin scores that got brought back. It makes for a fun evening.

Yeah I was on edge all night because of those Harvin plays.

I managed to pull out a win by less than 5 pts, despite leaving +28 pts on my bench.

Definitely not gonna do that again (spoiler: I'm totally gonna end up doing that again)

The guy I was playing went into last night needing 10 points and had Garcon and Lynch. He didn't pass me until mid-fourth quarter, which is infuriating. I knew I was going to lose, but started having hope around halftime when neither were doing anything at all.

Wilson is doing consistently better than Rodgers so far, and Dallas gives up more points to QBs than Miami. I'd go with Wilson if I had him.

I would not bench Aaron Rodgers. Just plug him in every week and go. The rushing stuff that Wilson has pulled out lately has been really nice, but you cannot expect him to continue doing that on a weekly basis.

And this is a moot stat right now.

    Miami's opposing QB's through week 5:
    Tom Brady
    EJ Manuel
    Alex Smith
    Derek Carr

Yep, play your studs every week. You overthink it and you'll do what I did last week and start Rivers over Manning (the Jets were a much better matchup! Totally)

I got blown out anyway, but it was still a dumb move on my part.

So I have both Montee Ball and Rashad Jennings riding the bench for a few weeks with injuries. That's mostly ok, I've got Forte and Lacy (my league is allergic to running backs, I think). I've currently got Michael Floyd in flex. Do I drop Ryan Tannehill and pick up Branden Oliver for flex this week?

Also Forte, Lacy, and Matty Ice all have week 9 byes, that is going to suuuuuck. I actually need Jennings and Ball to both be healthy by then, or I have no choice but to pick up another RB.

The problem is that you have two top 5 QB's. Play one and trade the other for a position you could do better at.

If you have Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson you have a guaranteed starter and a good backup, not two top 5 QBs, except in "Russell Wilson gets two points for everyone else's one" leagues which are rare but fun.

Agreed fantasy wise Wilson is an average QB who had a great game. He doesn't even attempt enough passes on average to be considered near top 5.

Puig was good down the stretch of the regular season but he was awful in this series and practically swung at every pitch
