I had been hemming and hawing on buying it because my wife and I are on an extremely strict budget and we already had some big entertainment expenditures this month (I bought Borderlands PS, she got a TV to replace the one we had to leave behind when we moved to BC)
My wife was like "It's alright, we can afford it, if you really want to buy it. I decided not to get Borderlands PS and we were originally going to get 2 copies so you can just use the money we were going to spend on that on Civ BE instead"
But, our cats have fleas.
Not sure how that happens. My in-laws (who we live with) have a cat who goes outside for little five minute excursions once in a while (he's like 20, he's not really an outdoor cat anymore) and I guess it can happen that way?
So now there's 4 cats in the house with fleas (our 3, and our in-laws' 1) and we have to get Advantage for all of them and that's going to be a fuckton of money and it just
no video game for me

like we're buying the Advantage, there's no question, we can't just ignore the cats having fleas that is awful
but I had just sorta finished up playing Borderlands PS and Civ BE was coming out at the perfect time

I saw this episode on tv once, next you're going to get white goo coming out of your mouth, the doctors will almost kill you several times, then the head doctor will get an epiphany that it's hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia and everything will be fine
Also The Resistance went over extremely well with our group, which pleased me.
Though, Lu the Ukrainian girl wants to play Tragedy Looper extremely badly and has tasked me with spending hours researching it so we can play it next time.
