1) Parents that refuse to vaccinate their kids because of fears of autism/mercury poisoning/alien brainwaves
2) Parents that refuse to vaccinate their kids because they can't stand to see their kids in pain even if it is for their own good
it may actually be group #2
I hope #2 can keep applying their reasoning beyond vaccines.
"I refuse to tell my kid to share his toys, or not buy him anything he wants the minute he asks. I just can't stand to see him cry because he's unhappy."
"I guess I should send him to school, but I can't stand to see him sad when I drop him off, so I keep him home playing videogames all day. Look at how happy he is!"
"Make him get a job? I tried, but when I saw how exhausted he was after his first four-hour day I couldn't stand it and told him to quit."
"My son is a spoiled, lazy, uneducated slob. Where has society failed him?"

Well, in the few instances I'm aware of this thinking does appear to be extending beyond vaccines. Not very great parenting IMO.

Nah we mostly worked it out.
Someone on the board of the rescue took the mic away from queen bitch on high and has made finding another foster home a priority for us. Someone is coming by late tonight to meet doge, and if doge doesn't try to eat the soft parts of her face (which she wont because woman) then she will take doge and all will return to normal.
Then I will fire one last email off to lady attitude and tell her "we have no intention of slandering her or saying anything negative because there is literally nothing we can say that hasn't been said on yelp by dozens of others - please to be removing us from all future mailings kthx. Peace."

It's group 1.
Group 2 can be solved by roping in an unsuspecting cousin Mortious, then suddenly having to be somewhere else for the next several minutes, while he now attempts to deal with a crying alien creature.
The story's structure felt weird, with the late addition of Kelso and Phelps becoming a supporting character and dying. I think part of the problem is Phelps had very little development until the last Vice case. Maybe if we had back and forthed between Phelps and Kelso more fluidly?
I had the DLC where there's a huge explosion at a factory, and I have to say the aftermath of it as you drive to the scene was pretty amazing. The radio getting staticy as the sky darkens and the roads are covered in ash was pretty effective at setting the tone.
Also this game reminds you why Miranda is a thing.
All in all, eh. Which is a shame since I know the horror story that was its development.

The destiny Grimoire is about the dumbest thing ever
why do I have to go to a website to read the story of the game

You needed to buy and read a comic to know the story of the Star Trek remake movie. It's a whole new trend, making material that makes no sense and putting the plot separately somewhere else. It's stupid as all fucks.

This game is not bungie at its best when it comes to storytelling. Missions are samey, environments are very pretty but don't have the kind of epic storied scope that Halo titles had.
Mechanically the game sounds completely awesome though.
It's a shame, because I am really mostly a story/lore junkie in my games, so that being the thinnest part of the experience has me cooling my desire until some more story and content is cooked up.

The locations have really cool names though!
The Temple of Croootaaaaa *DOOOOOOM*
They're very close. They have some great environments that the story takes place in, but they fail to flesh it out with anything.
Peter Dinklage should be reading me a god damn novel about every place I'm at. What it was like before the fall. What happened during its fall. What are the significance of these ruins.
Instead it's like... 2 sentences and a nervous quip about our odds and then decoding some lock. Urrrgh.

word on the street is that it's an artifact of them firing their writing staff and completely reorganizing their story assets a few months before launch. basically the story they were going to tell through gameplay was no longer possible, so they hired a dude to write the grimoire.
to be fair to that dude, he did a pretty good job on some of the cards and made me interested in learning more. but still i agree that it's an overall terrible solution.

they fired the head writer and ditched most of the story and at the last second cobbled together the website thing so the lore wasn't completely out of the game

Not that new. The 2nd and 3rd Matrix movies were all about "Multimedia Experiences!" too. The game had extra movie footage. The game was referenced in the 3rd movie. That sort of thing. Then, of course the Animatrix stuff that had back stories for the universe and some of the movie characters.
In fact, the catalyst for the second film was the high quality hyper-real (for the time) 3D film in the animatrix. Like, the final warning distress message of the ship that let everyone in Zion know that shit was about to get real? That is a scene they decided to do as a Final Fantasy cutscene instead, and the moviegoing audience would never see it for the most part.

There is really a surprising amount of effort put into it.
