Toolbar in MS Word won't stop loading

Adobe installed an Adobe PDF Maker toolbar into all my MS Office (for Mac) programs, and even though I turn it off each time anything loads, it comes back the next time I start the program up again. The main issue is in MS Word, since it already takes too long to load up, and the toolbar adds even more time to the program startup. I don't want to remove the toolbar from the program entirely, as it's pretty useful, but I don't want it to load as a visible toolbar every time. Help?
