Alright, so I've had a couple of fairly successful game nights at my place, mostly involving games from Steam run off of my laptop, so I'm looking for more of the same. I have an Xbox controller adapter and four controllers, so ideally I'm looking for games that support four (or more) players. To give you an example of what we've been playing so far,
Nidhogg,
Gang Beasts and
Worms Revolution have proved popular, and I've already picked up Castle Crashers.
So basically I'm looking for games that are:
- Cheap
- Available on steam, or otherwise easily downloadable
- Support 4 (or more) players on one machine, one screen
- Are easy to pick up, even whilst slightly drunk
- Will run well on a moderately powerful laptop (it struggles a bit with Gang Beasts)
- Aren't already listed above

I haven't had the opportunity to play its multiplayer mode, but HOARD seems like it would be a lot of fun with 4 people in a room together.
My Backloggery
Same goes for Dungeon Defenders.
I guess I should add that we're all playing on one machine, one screen.
Both good suggestions, I just mean I'd rather not shell out $80 for something we're probably only ever going to play once or twice. $15 is perfect.
The Yawhg
I'm in Australia, for reference. I suspect there's a region-specific version out there somewhere, though and I wouldn't want a version that's going to ask us questions about Americana we've never heard of anyway.
*edit* I guess not, in fact they've specifically said as much:

A Virus Named Tom
Jamestown
Monaco
Spelunky
Not sure if supports local - Risk of Rain
These games are single player but at least in my group people very much enjoy watching/trying.
Super Hexagon
Bit.Trip Runner
Electronic Super Joy. (We'd take turns on endless love mode)
Seconded, especially if they like Nidhogg, as it has a lot of the same "Oh fuck no! Come back here, come back here! Shit you killed me again" moments.
Broforce is pretty easy but hilarious
Crawl (early access, though).
Lethal League
it gets you 3 of the best party games: fibbage, you don't know jack, and drawsome (plus 2 more games that are sorta meh).
and the best bit is that they are controlled via cellphone/tablets so you don't need to pass around controllers.
I haven't played it local, but it supports it. I have played it multi with friends on TS, and the results are hilarious, primarily in the Deathrace game mode.

I've not personally played it, but it looks hilarious with the right group.
