Avengers World #16, Doom is such a nice guy, when he breaks things he fixes them:

Avengers #39, Reed narrates a letter to Val about sticking to your convictions as those bad-good guys come crashing down on his team, and Sunspot is just so cool:

Uncanny X-Men Annual hit right in the feels. It's the first half of a two-parter that finally showed what happened to Eva when she got time displaced as a teenager and came back as a young adult. Bonus points for being drawn by Sorrentino, who does some of the best coloring and panel work I've seen in the industry (and who was the artist for the previous amazing Green Arrow run that finished a couple months ago).

Her powers go out of control and send her through time when her life is threatened. First she goes into a future with tentacle squid beasts holding beam pistols. Then she jumps to the wild west where she gets saved by the Rawhide Kid. You see, this isn't the first time Johnny Bart has experienced time travelers. He triggers her self-jump to get her away from the rest of the town that wants to try and kill her as a witch.

She then ends up 100+ years in the future where Illyana has become the Supreme Sorcerer of the Galaxy, and goes into training to control her powers, being advised not to time jump anymore. She accepts her new reality, falls in love, has a kid.....

But time displaced happiness can't last forever...

And then we time-jump into Dinosaurs and a to be continued.

It's well written and sad. Eva's been one of my favorite X-men since she was introduced and this just furthers that.

I really love Good Doom (I was a huge fan and subscriber of Doom 2099 back in the 90s). I'm glad they've moved him in that direction as opposed to 100% evil racist doom of Black Panther and Doomwar. I'm guessing it will only last as long as the whole AXIS/inversion thing goes on, but he's been pretty well characterized since they added him to the Future Foundation. They really need to give him and/or Valeria an ongoing
