but interparty conflict is the best thats why kotor2 best rpg ever, hail obsidian :hydra:
My sister said recently that the first one is better, so I disowned her.
The first one has narrative thrust and a satisfying ending
I love KOTOR2 but having played it many times I still cannot tell you what you are doing for like half of it. You wander around ruined Telos a lot? For like hours and hours. And then you go into a base, I think. And then you go into some more bases. God it's like you never ever get to actually fly your damn spaceship around.

I don't think I can argue with that!
The beginning of the game is SOOOOO boring!
The end was terrible originally as well, but that was fixed in the fanpatch.

two quotes from a spoilery part of motb still resonate with me - 'only love could be so cruel, i think' and 'all crusades are selfish; the trappings of righteousness come later'

I am still of the opinion that Chris Avellone is a poor choice of writer for a Star Wars game. Much like Torment served as commentary on D&Disms, Sith Lords tried to deconstruct Star Wars. But deconstructing it within the setting itself doesn't ever feel right, it's supposed to be a pulpy black-and-white setting. The Planescape setting helped signpost that it wasn't going to be a typical D&D experience in away that would not have worked if they had tried to make it Baldurs Gate 3 instead.

kreia has some good bitchy lines too
Darth Sion: After all that has happened, still you live. You are difficult to kill.
Kreia: For one as limited as you, perhaps. To have fallen so far and learned nothing, that is your failure.

There's so many video game Father Figures out there
It was cool to see Kreia rock the shit out of the Menacing Grandmother Figure
(Also damnit clone wars if Palpatine had to have a fight scene, he should've done the Kreia force-sabering thing)
A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

I thought it was The Old Republic themed, but KorOR is good.

she does it if u do the opposite too
she is a troll but its k
i actually think she works quite well in the setting simply because she isnt right
she goes off the deep end quite loopily
the cut content owns too
not every star wars thing needs to be that but i dont think kotor2 suffered dramatically because of it

the whole book's great, but this put a big smile on my face
It is, I just cannot think of another game where you are a space waifu and you have a space waifu.
I kind of like that she really is committed to her cause
the player cannot dissuade her from it, and in fact can become her enemy
