I upgraded my computer sometime around Halloween. New Motherboard, new processor, new ram, new sound card and new graphics card. But I brought my old case and old power supply, cause I kinda ran out of money.
I've had an issue where plugging in a USB3 device will cause the computer to crash, but I've been able to hold that off by simply not plugging those things in.
But now what happens is that for seemingly no real reason, the computer will just reset and boot back up again, as if the reset button was actually triggered. I don't think it's ever reset on me in the middle of a game or other CPU Intensive Times, in fact it tends to crash if I just have a browser open watching a video.
What would cause this? The only theory I've been able to come up with is the old power supply can't handle the new stuff, but again, it never resets with Steam open playing TF2 or anything. Last night I had nothing open but Chrome, with a single tab playing videos. It reset a solid 3 times in the course of the night.
Any help at this point would be super as I'm just plain stumped.

put your components in the forms and see how close you're pushing your PSU to it's limit.
2. Did you do a fresh install of windows when you changed all these things?
AMD FX-8350
8gb of RAM
Geforce GTX 750 Graphics Card
An Audigy FX PCIe 5.1 sound card
The Power supply is a Spire PSH650V-D
And yes, Fresh install and even a fresh C: Drive.
How old is it, though?
The most interesting part of all this is, that I can confirm that the thing that makes the computer reset, are videos. Youtube, Netflix, just something in VLC. These make the computer reset, but if I go boot up TF2 or any game through Steam, nothing happens at all.
EDIT!
GOOD NEWS! It was totally 100% the power supply. I was recommended one, and even though it was only 550w compared to my old 650, installing it seems to have solved all the problems the computer was having. I now regret waiting since October to upgrade it.
