First Time going to Pax East

I am going to Pax East for the very first time, and I am sure others are as well. I am going to find new geeky friends, buy gaming stuff and learning how to play table top gaming. I am hoping there are going to be some cool people here. Anyone else here looking to make new friend?

    You'll find more often than not people are pretty friendly and open to random people coming up to them, so don't be shy. Also having a costume is a good way to have a reason to go up to people and start a conversation. If you see a dude wearing painter's coveralls that people have written all over, come up and say hi and sign me. Seriously though, don't be shy. I see too many people walking around the tabletop area looking at all the games, obviously wanting to get in on one, but they just stay quiet and walk in circles. Nothing wrong with politely going up to people asking if you can watch or if they need another player.

    That is cool, thanks for responding, I will be going with my boy friend, if I see you, I will come up to you. I am not that shy just a little at first. I will not be co playing this time since its my very first time.

    Ya honestly it was me that was the shy one last year and people had to say hi to me. Really they are the nicest people though. I met so many cool people at the parties who were more then willing to hook me up with stuff and were really cool people. Def looking foward to it again
