I would have more confidence in the book if Star-Lord was more than just a fun pretty solid book
Like I don't dislike it but it hasn't been a fantastic title and Kitty and Peter's relationship has been cute but very insubstantial (HAHA JOKES) so I'm very skeptical of Humphries handling Peter either juggling two Kitties or somehow continuing his relationship with a new alternate Kitty Pryde with any real degree of weight to it
This describes every book Humphries has ever written.
I am kinda super iffy on that Star-Lord Kitty Pryde book
The interview has Humphries talk about how it is a big romance book and it is all about their relationship
But that isn't the same Kitty Pryde. Totally different character. Peter going from being in a relationship with Kitty to being in a relationship with an alternate Universe version of Kitty immediately afterwards is just kind of dumb and uninteresting
Like, he specifically says how this is a "continuation" of their romance.
But it isn't! AoA Kitty is a different character! It isn't the same relationship!
It's... a cover?
(Yes this is the master of overreaction telling the master of the measured hand to calm down.
Reality will be collapsing upon itself shortly)
So...you and Blank are the real reason behind the incursions?
I get that Matt is having a breakdown and I'm not supposed to be agreeing with what he does but I keep finding myself going yep, uh-huh, sounds good to me

When I got to that point, I started wondering if Bendis reads Steven Brust.
I just looked up what this was, and read the synopsis of the original miniseries
"Later Wolverine flirts with MJ but to no avail as Mary Jane conceives it as another one of Wolverine's attempts to seduce her into an affair; it turns out that Wolverine only did so in an attempt to deflect her mind from the loss of her husband."
What the fuck is this shit? Does it somehow miraculously come off better in the comic than in the synopsis, or is it exactly as weird and awful as it seems?

Spider-Gwen is in the same spot as the Edge of the Spider Verse issue, in that it is a really rad concept, has a great look and feel, and is fun, but is missing....something

which is funny, it strikes me as very similar to what he's been doing with Cyclops for the past couple years
The story the other had Peter Parker turn into a Man Spider, die, and then """""molt"""""" that skin. Thats how he gained those new powers that vanished in OMD
Kaine did the same thing apparently and isnt actually dead
Also Mayday Parker went back to her home to find out Mary Jane was still alive so you know thats something

I mean it's like
Wolverine: you know if you ever need anything, I can be there for you *some sort of innuendo*
Mary Jane: *slaps the shit out of him*
Someone: what the hell was that?
Wolverine: sometimes having someone to be mad at can help you through grief.
Kaine is willing to do things Peter isnt so the life web would obviously want him. And since he is technically Peter none of that Ezekeiel shit will go down
I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.

You should read up on the What If of the story.
Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)
I am...having trouble thinking of why that's being presented as a bad thing
That's not how that's supposed to work
Spider-Gwen is in the same spot as the Edge of the Spider Verse issue, in that it is a really rad concept, has a great look and feel, and is fun, but is missing....something
I assume the Atom stuff is going to happen on flash soon so they needed to delay for more setup on arrow.
which is funny, it strikes me as very similar to what he's been doing with Cyclops for the past couple years
it just strikes me as similar to Daredevil going through a nervous breakdown while also declaring himself the Kingpin of Hell's Kitchen

It seemed pretty much a wolverine thing to do.
Theyve been hinting at this since Spider-Island.
I realize now that the way I worded it, it sounds like they revealed Ra's was his father or something
i want
Also Felicity convinced him to take a break when he hit a wall, and then he and Felicity did the bad thang.
Yeah sorry, my bad
For a moment I forgot that and overreacted
