in PAX East
Hello all:
During PAX East this year, one of my friends has graciously volunteered to run a dedicated Minecraft server for the duration of the event, for attendees to join and play whenever they desire (either from PC Freeplay or BYOC).
[He asked me to make this post since he does not have a forum account and will not even be attending PAX this year.]
At the moment, the plan is at a bit of a standstill, so he has asked me to gauge the forums on whether or not anybody would even participate in such a "PAXCraft" event.
If this plan were to come to fruition, would anybody be interested in playing on it at any point during PAX?
The server will be:
A. Vanilla (unmodded)
B. Latest version of Minecraft (1.8.1)
C. Player cap of anywhere from 20 to 100 depending on support
D. Open survival with PvP disabled (PvP is again depending on support)
