Didn't they also say there's going to be a ton of one-shots and miniseries?
A lot of the announcements so far are miniseries
Where Monsters Dwell, Master of Kung-Fu, MODOK: Assassin, Ultimate End, Battleworld, Secret Wars Journal, 2099 and Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars are all minis
Depending on if X-Men '92 counts (since it is a digital first series) Angela: Witch Hunter might have been the last Secret Wars title
There were 9 open slots on that map and since then they've announced:
1602: Angela: Witch Hunter
Giant-Sized Little Marvels
Armor Wars
Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows
Mrs. Deadpool and the Howling Commandos
Squadron Sinister
Captain Marvel and the Carol Corps
X-Men '92
Years of Future Past
I'm gonna guess '92 isn't counted and we get one last big announcement tomorrow before solicits drop on Wednesday
How could you forget the teasers for Civil War and House of M? There are at least two huge Secret Wars announcements left, and I imagine Civil War will have massive names attached for writing and art.
I mean we could still get those but the Battleworld Map they revealed with spaces for upcoming announcements only had 9 spots left when Guardians of Knowhere was announced week after last
Yeah, but all of the other teasers have become books, and I'm certain those will as well.

We've gotten books that weren't teasers, so it stands to possibility the teasers don't coorespond to the existence of books. They might have been nothing more than marketing.
I doubt that's the case, but there's always the possibility.
I love superhero stories where someone is thrown into a position of great importance/power and forced to sink or swim and learns as they go, even better if they have a wise mentor in their ears at all time.
Nova, Batman Beyond, etc.
So hapless 20something med student becoming the Lord of Order and strongest sorcerer on the planet is very up my alley
Dr. Fate performs routine magical maintenance. It's like inspecting bridges and highways. It's not very interesting but it's still really important and if no one does it then things break down and everyone's screwed.
DC is pulling the Batgirl cover at Rafael Albuqurque's request.
My Batgirl variant cover artwork was designed to pay homage to a comic that I really admire, and I know is a favorite of many readers. 'The Killing Joke' is part of Batgirl’s canon and artistically, I couldn't avoid portraying the traumatic relationship between Barbara Gordon and the Joker.
For me, it was just a creepy cover that brought up something from the character’s past that I was able to interpret artistically. But it has become clear, that for others, it touched a very important nerve. I respect these opinions and, despite whether the discussion is right or wrong, no opinion should be discredited.
My intention was never to hurt or upset anyone through my art. For that reason, I have recommended to DC that the variant cover be pulled. I'm incredibly pleased that DC Comics is listening to my concerns and will not be publishing the cover art in June as previously announced.
With all due respect,
Rafa
This is honestly one that I don't get. I mean, yes, the new Batgirl is light and funny, so I guess that means that covers for it should never attempt to be anything but that?
They already had the backlash. Albuquerque asked to have the cover pulled because of the backlash.
Personally I thought it was not a very good cover, but nothing to get upset over. However I can see how the cover could upset big Barbara Gordon fans who have always hated The Killing Joke.

And Spider-Verse proper but I suggest skipping that
Steam
Edge of the Spider Verse #3
And the terrible terrible Spider-Verse
Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)
They've already announced a TON and they've said they aren't planning on increasing the monthly number of books during Secret Wars
that was weird

And it's just a half-filled in labyrinth placemat from a Kwikkee Burger.

God dammit I love that costume so much
is that he always seems like he's up to something CRAZY IMPORTANT and anytime you see him that its a distraction
but like
he doesn't really have solo stories
so its not like dr. strange where you can just go find out what he's up to
hes like THE FATE OF THE UNIVERSE HANGS IN THE BALANCE
and you never get to know why
I love his Earth 2 costume right now actually
Yeah, but all of the other teasers have become books, and I'm certain those will as well.
So he's Gandalf in The Hobbit
He's dead.
And also the Helmet of Fate isn't magical, it's a mother box.
And it has bonded with Jimmy Olsen who is now a techno super god.
I doubt that's the case, but there's always the possibility.
I love shit like this
I have a skeleton of a story with this as a thing
but I couldn't think of what to do with the plot
Nova, Batman Beyond, etc.
So hapless 20something med student becoming the Lord of Order and strongest sorcerer on the planet is very up my alley
No the movies very clearly delineate what Gandalf was doing
As do the supplemental writings
That was pretty great.
Dude was excellent on Superman, Justice League, BatB and Young Justice
HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS?
Even I'm not reading that terrible weekly, and I know you've got better taste than that! Explain yourself, buster!
What
Ok that's pretty much par for the course for Jimmy
Earth-1 Fate is still magic as fuck
.....
?
why not
