screen shots of movie?

I need to take some screen shots of a movie, and print screen isn't getting it done for me. If I do print screen and save the file, the file will contain the image that is on my screen at the current time, no matter how long ago I took the picture.

How can I take a screen shot of my movie without my computer changing the image file as soon as I hit play again?

Thanks.

I don't believe it - I'm on my THIRD PS3, and my FIRST XBOX360. What the heck?

    Ok, none of that worked.

Is there an easy way to do it using PowerDVD? One of those threads said there is, but I've never used this player before so I have no idea.

Use Media Player Classic, and chose the "save image" command from the menu. Saves it as tga format, IIRC.

PowerDVD ought to have a button with a picture of a camera on it that takes a screenshot, either to the clipboard or to a folder somewhere. Also you can press C, I think.

But obviously to make that into a viable anecdote you have to tart it up a bit.

Awesome, Classic works great. Thanks a lot for the tip.

Looks like I don't know how to change the thread title with the new look, but this is solved.

Double-click on the thread title from the menu.

I'm sure VLC media player makes this stupidly easy to do as well, doesn't it?

And seriously, if you're playing DVDs in anything but VLC, man what?
