Recovering game of OLD EA

Over a decade ago I bought Sims 2, including University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets and Seasons. Also SimCity 4 to make maps with. I registered them all with EA site. And because I could always log into the EA site to fetch the game codes any time I wanted I didn't bother saving them. It's EA, it's not going away anytime soon.

Since then Origin happened and EA apparently no longer handle games directly. My Origin account is using the same e-mail as my OOOOLD EA account but the games did not make the transfer. My Origin username, SiskaNewbie, was also my Sim 2 site username. But neither the old EA or Sims 2 site exist anymore, so I can't log in to either to fetch my codes, or prove ownership. My old computer it was installed on is also gone, so recovering them of there is not an option either.

But I figured it all has to be somewhere. I have my e-mail and my username. Both are the same on my current Origin account as they were on the old EA and Sims 2 site and that's gotta prove something. I contacted Origin support but they could not help without the codes. Which was what I was asking them for :D. They gave me a Sims 2 base game code for free, which was nice. But I want the whole thing. I refuse to believe they erased all their records from before Origin took over and Sims 2 site was shut down. So is there anyone I can contact besides from entry level support that might be able to dig this OOOOLD stuff out? I have some of the original game disc (no codes) but not all of them.

*edit* Ah, Geth. Bless your heart CPU

They would have the data somewhere, but the chances that it is readily accessible is probably pretty low. I doubt you could convince them to pull the tapes out of storage, and then search the databases just for one persons game codes unfortunately.

Double check that the code they gave you doesn't also include the Ultimate collection, they gave it out to anyone with Sims 2 registered on origin when they cut support for the game in 2014.

if not, I guess try calling them and maybe you can get the ultimate collection added on as well, if the low level guys can't do it, ask for a supervisor.

Oddly, I can't even register the code they gave me on Origin. Not sure why. Might be that they just don't register Sims 2 anymore. So I'm not sure how to check what the code includes other then installing the base game with my disc and hopefully it works. If it included other expansions I would have to figure out how to get them installed.
