Literally no part of that sword makes sense.

The handle couldn't be where the hand can't hold it where it couldn't possibly be attached to a blade that's apparently been painted rather than splattered with blood.

If it helps, the unsheathed dagger at his waist also has an improbable handle, so at least he's consistent!

Also, an unsheathed dagger kept at crotch level is probably not the best decision to make.

If you hadn't said anything, David, I could have scrolled right past that drawing and not noticed any of that.
But you did, so I had to scroll back and see what you were talking about.

And now it cannot be unseen.

I would love to see a hand animated Rob Liefeld cartoon. The art would be so inconsistent that it would be almost avant garde.

So duckman with less humor, less consistency, and no feet?

Just the idea of Rob Liefeld trying to decide on his next project and going with The Actual Bible tickles me pink

Like nothing wrong with him having faith but boy if there isn't an artist whose sensibilities don't fit the bible more I can't really think of them

Is he particularly devout though or is this just a paycheck

You can give Liefeld a lot of shit for his stupid looking guns or ridiculous swords and shit

But at least he was able to draw a pointed stick reasonably well.

Re-reading Waid's Daredevil from the start, the original art is still great, but it's jarring to go back to how Kirsten was originally drawn.

Rob Liefeld is a mystery, he seems like a cool guy, he's even given some great advice to hopeful artists. But he also seems to be kinda childish, in the sense that he'll just do whatever is cool and he doesn't care if it makes no sense or is wildly inconsistent.

I went back and looked at the Eve picture and that snake is also just... but, and this is very important:

    Do not GIS "snake nose".

I have learned this so you don't have to.

Could be an alt-version, or the artist could have just drawn the wrong costume. Happens a lot when a character gets a new look.

Okay somebody help me remember a cartoon that I watched a handful of times
It was from the early 90s, and had a vaguely superhero-esque cast of characters that in hindsight seemed an awful lot like ripoffs of other characters

I only remember two of the characters: one was (I think) called Prototype, and he was your standard powered armor guy, but he had an attitude
And then the other one was called Prime, and he was kind of a Captain Marvel riff, because he was a kid who turned into a superpowered adult, but it was like... kinda gross? I mean, he like, grew the shell of an adult around him, or something, and it looked super weird

I don't know why the fuck I was thinking about this today an I'm not sure I ever saw more than the first episode but I remember thinking how weird it was

Fun fact: Ultraforce and Prime were published by a comics company called Malibu Comics, which also published the original Men in Black comics!

Also, they were bought by Marvel in 1994, but there's some sort of legal situation where Marvel can't use any of the Ultraverse characters.

I just realized it's actually going to be kind of weird having regularly scheduled Clint Barton & Kate Bishop adventures every month

And I've only been following this stuff for like 6 months, some of you people have been suffering for YEARS

    which is
