I've seen others post what appears to be a screen cap of tweets before, but I would guess there's some way to use the img tags in combination with a tweet link without having to screen cap, post to an img url, and then use that to post back here in the forum.
Also, the BBCode link appears to only show a few of the more commonly used tags, but doesn't necessarily mention, what I thought would be, more frequently used ones like bracket
supbracket and bracket
subbracket (wow, that was awkward to type, haha).
If there is no shortcut, I'll suck it up and just move on, but thanks for any help!

To get the link to a specific Tweet, click the timestamp next to the user's name on Twitter and you can then copy the URL from your browser's address bar.
Note one wrinkle: at least for me on Chrome version 42, when you first post you will probably just see the URL in your post without the embed. If you refresh the page you should be able to see that the embed is, in fact, working.
Christ, thank you, @Gaslight ...I don't know why I was trying to make it so complicated before.
Didn't think it'd be as easy as posting a youtube link. ty

e: nvm, I'm a special kind of stupid. I guess when you edit a post, it'll show the link, but if you refresh the page, the twitter image will show up.

Yeah you have to refresh the page at least once to be able to see the embed on your end after adding the link to a post, I have no idea why, but it should work fine for anybody else viewing the post immediately.
