Ladyfriend got to a moment in Mass Effect 2 that I think has her all the way on board with the game

Despite what people said in the last thread, I think if there is a real winner, it is Valve, not Bethesda

Talking about them again made me curious, taking a peak NEOTOKYO has one server with twenty people playing on it and a handful of empty servers and Dystopia has no one playing it, but some empty servers. :(

I'm not defending their implementation of the paid workshops, but if they're going to do it they might as well do it once. Now they're going to have to deal with the backlash again when they try do it again.

I'm actually incredibly shocked that valve reversed the policy.

Partly because I'm a cynic and partly because this is far from the first thing valve's done that a lot of people hated, and they generally don't back down.

I've never played a racing game using a steering wheel peripheral. I might give it a shot with the new dirt game.

    I would have

Marty: The future, it's where you're going?
Doc: That's right, twenty five years into the future. I've always dreamed on seeing the future, looking beyond my years, seeing the progress of mankind. I'll also be able to see who wins the next twenty-five world series.

I am pretty certain it will come back, just for a brand new game instead of an established Workshop that is basically impossible to convert

That makes me sad, I didn't care a lot for NEOTOKYO but Dystopia was so damn cool and a lot of fun. I feel like the success of TF2 really murdered the hopes for mods like that based on the HL2 engine.

NeoTokyo I think still does NeoTokyo Fridays and will fill a couple servers up then. Dystopia is, unfortunately, completely dead.

Yeah. A years-old game with a long history of free mods, and some of those mods converting from free to paid, was a bad test bed for this.

Now that you've backed a dump truck of feedback onto our inboxes, we'll be chewing through that, but if you have any further thoughts let us know.

I wonder how many tens of millions of emails they got, and exactly how quickly the email server at their headquarters burned to the ground?

There are already a few games with that feature planned, I think.

Unreal Tournament is the only one I can think of off-hand.

Ladyfriend got preeeeetty stuck on the finale of the Archangel misison.

That shit's pretty unforgiving if this is your first shooter, yeah. But she made it through, 'cause she's a goddamn warrior.

And because she's a woman of sense, she's going, "Hey, I think my lady has a crush on this Garrus fellow."

Sometimes in Cities:skylines I bulldoze the wrong building. In reality it's just a mouse slip up, but I imagine in my city it was a huge fiasco and several people lost their jobs over it.

man, i still don't understand brutal doom, conceptually. also some of the design choices seem weird but i don't know why you'd want a more graphically violent doom.

If I were Valve I would have stuck with it. They've done that with their other bad decisions. But, maybe this outcry is different from all the other outcries. If that's the case then it really shows how much people disliked this change.

Valve knows to abandon something when its clear it's not going anywhere.

    Remember PowerPlay?

    Nope?

    There you go.

See, i fucking love that comic, but i love it because it's really stupid and bad.

I wouldn't want to play that. Also they added a heat guard or something to the shotgun and that's dumb.

They changed the weapon models for the traditional weapons to look like real guns instead of the toy guns the original sprites were based on.

Really I just want to dual-wield plasma cannons, I used to do work with the plasma cannon back in the day...

sigh I am seriously going to flip the table the computer sits on because of people in payday 2
How hard is it to stealth something?
If everyone is wearing the suit why are you in full body armor?

And I really hate I am saving this spot for a friend
THEN why is it not enambled for friends only?

Just Cause 2's missions and story sucked but it was so much fun as just this playground where they've given you a bunch of tools to cause mayhem with. Really looking forward to the new one.

Stealthing in pubs is an exercise in frustration, other than JS/ukrainian. :/
Everything, apart from hauling the bags on SR, is faster/easier solo.

I am doing bank jobs and Ukrainian
The later is a lesson in pain as I am getting people jumping in with unscileced weapons
POP POP and it's loud now

I avoid doing SR because it goes wrong so often
I have no idea what I am supposed to do in the bomb heists so I quit going to them
I have not done the train since they made it's own run

I guess I am going to do a few offline runs then
