I have begrudgingly purchased a 360 controller, and I only use it for one game up to this point.
I am hella stubborn at using my mouse and keyboard.
If I wanted to play everything on a controller, I'd own a fucking xbox, dammit.
I totally get you on that but DA:I broke me in that regard. Day one K&M controls were just shit.

Man, PC gaming isn't about playing with Mouse and Keyboard.
PC Gaming is about experiencing the very best gaming has to offer in regards to visual, sound, and gameplay. It's about always being on the bleeding edge and never having to compromise on fidelity. It's about having the flexibility to do things in games that you want to do. Though mostly it's for watching netflix while you grind in a MMO or something.

It sounds to me like you're pretty stubborn in every regard.
People are doing whatever they can to help you, and you're not even meeting them halfway.
Man, I was just bitching about the game running poorly and people started asking questions I had no idea how to answer.
I didn't even know that software existed that could tell me how hot my GPU is, until I googled about it in response to stuff people were asking me here.
I've done the best of my ability here, but I am really shitty at adapting and learning new things quickly, even when I'm not sleep-deprived.

They're going to fucking help you, whether you want it or not.
I'm actually putting off listening to the soundtrack - even though it's already available on GOG - because I'm going to wait until I hear everything in context first
Game's real close now. Four more days is not many days.
Actually it's later than it would have been if they released on Tuesdays. They push their shelf dates back so that all big box retail stores will have them in as well.

Has that... has that ever been said
I don't think big box retail stores have had a problem stocking big releases for Tuesdays in a long time

None of mine get them in unless it's a big name title and then they do the same as Nintendo; shelf dates are pushed back so everyone has them for the day. Target and all the rest get releases usually a week later than Amazon and Gamestop's pre-orders and the like (or at least the ones in my area do).

I'm broken in a very specific way after all these years wherein fucking with PC games to get them working, or working better, has become an inherently satisfying activity.

nvidia control panel -> Manage 3D Setting -> Scroll down to Vertical Sync and select 'off'
open up notepad, locate user.ini in the witcher 2 folder, find crt-f mouseinput, make the changes and save.
I'm tired as fuck and don't really feel like fucking around with settings anymore right now.
I didn't get any sleep last night and I'm running on fumes at this point so even basic tasks are kinda hard to focus on.
Thanks anyway, but I'd rather just not bother right now, and try playing it with a controller later whenever I get in the mood to try the game again.
It does control better with a controller anyway, so that's fair
Especially when you have a 130 inch projector setup and a nice comfy couch to lounge on.

Yeah I can't play melee in that game.
having to follow dudes around manually in addition to having to hold down the autoattack button?
That just kinda took all the fun out of combat for me.
It was like I'm just holding the fire button and occasionally throwing a spell to make sure something gets done.
Inquisition is the first Dragon Age game I didn't pick up and replay.
Hell, I couldn't be bothered to finish up everything in the vanilla game to begin with. It just wasn't much fun at all.
DAI has its moments, but most of the time it was like playing an MMO. Just totally alien vs the feeling I had playing the first two.

PSN- AHermano
I'm not gonna post it because it has monster nipples in it
But it's pretty cool. Vampires in the witcher universe are scary as Hell
I barely noticed the music in 2 but I'm really loving what I hear from 3

But that's still sooner than Tuesday
Sunday doesn't really help
I need to have it available for the weekend
or I'll make sad faces
like this
this can be solved if you move to the UK, where games come out 3 days later on Fridays

This was me ten years ago.
Now I'm just old, crotchety and impatient.
