document is now in effect.
So, I couldn't find an existing thread worth putting this in, so I figured I would start one to show off my new tattoo. The coloring is going to need some touch up because I'm such a bleeder and the colors are mostly light, but I like how it turned out.
It's not a very good shot, but I'll post some more once it gets past the ugly stages.
Who needs the thug life when you've got...the pin life?

“I let out a battle cry. Sure, a lot of people might have mistaken it for a sudden yelp of unmanly fear, but trust me. It was a battle cry.”

If you are REALLY devoted (or crazy...I say crazy), you should get the Gabe and Tycho around the microphone picture from the DLC Kickstarter poster as well.

I've wanted a PA tattoo for a while now, but didn't know exactly what to get. I had thought of pieces from a favorite comic, a gabe and tycho of some arrangement, but just could never pin down ( 8-) ) exactly what would be the most iconic image to use. The idea of an original piece from Mike had flitted through my thoughts, but I just felt like that's too much to ask.
PA has meant much to me, as I'm sure it has to all of you, for quite some time. For the first few years after '99, it was just a funny comic I saw on the web. As they began to share more and more of their lives with us, I felt more connection to Mike and Jerry, especially with the PATV letting us get a glimpse into their lives. One of the biggest ones for me was Mike talking about his struggles with medication, anxiety, etc. That was one of the big things that helped me get professional help for my problems...I thought, this guy has it all, if he can have these problems, then I absolutely can! The Acquisitions Incorporated stuff, as many of you who know me are aware is a huge deal to me. I thought this would be the end of my journey with PA and all that entails. I finally was able to thank the guys for all the joy they had brought to my life, and it had a ton of meaning. Oddly enough, at that same time, I had found PAX, and it brought even more happiness to my dreary existence. I had always wanted to go, but never had the opportunity/motivation to do so. Being ridden with social anxiety and stationed overseas had a lot to do with it, but I got stationed in Washington right at Prime Time, and had to go. I fell in love with PAX, and made it my goal to start going as often as I could.
During Prime 13, and shortly afterwards I got into pin trading/collecting, and became relatively active on these forums. I started to become part of a community. East 14 was full of pins, but not much community. Prime 14 changed all that, the hobby became more than a pile of metal and strangers on the internet, I started to view people as friends. The inaugural PAX South was the culmination of that. So much community, so much fun, so much pin; it all just congealed and became something that I truly loved. Not just the hobby, not just the community, not just the convention; all of it, and all of you.
I could think of no better symbol that represents all these things to me. Gabe and Tycho, check; the image of G&T doing what Mike and Jerry do to make all these things I love happen, check; something that reminds me of all the great people and good times I've had and will have at PAX, check; something that brings to mind a beloved hobby and all the great people and great times I've had with the hobby, check.
To me, it's not just the image on a collectors item, it is all of these things coalesced into one image that is now permanently part of me to remind me of so many things I love. Yes, I'm crying about a tattoo that wasn't even an original design for me...shut up.

But your post is distracting a lot of people from my one about your butt just above it so if you could please delete it that would be great thanks.

Generally it is impossible to distract people from my butt, so I can understand your concern

(On a serious note, be very careful about anything poking your collarbone and the tiny layer of flesh above it.)
