That was awesome. Do you think they've taken static images of the 3D models and use those as their animation frames?

Man I really hope you dont cut away so much in the future. I understand taking away loadtimes. But let there be silence during fights and so on. Some times you cut away a minute of a match and other times you cut like 5 seconds. The matches are not that long in fightinggames so it feels confusing and disorienting when you see the characters move on the screen and suddenly the tables have turned and the person in the lead is losing and so on. If this is the first 15 min of a game. maybe the video should be around 15 min instead of 10.

I've never played Guilty Gear before, but I really want this one! It looks gorgeous, and really fun!

As a long time Guilty Gear fan I was very pleasantly surprised by how good this one was. It does the Street Fighter 4 thing by using 3d models in 2d fighting. It makes the animations smooth. My only complaint is that they had to reduce the roster but, still, awesome game.

Also; Bedman is a lot better than Jerry is playing him but he is very difficult to learn.

I agree entirely. I would very much like to see the entire unedited video clip for all of these, since I really enjoy feeling like I'm just hanging out on a couch watching them play a game. Leave the loading screens in as well, as they're part of the experience.

I agree as well! I can see the reasoning behind cutting in certain instances (worked well for comedy's sake in Cabela's) but I was expecting the full 15 minutes given the name. I enjoyed both episodes so far, and think I will in the future regardless, but I wonder if I would enjoy it even more just hanging out and watching the whole experience. *ponder*

I think I'd enjoy this a lot more without the cutouts. Some, rarely, sparingly, okay. But the number I'm seeing here makes me dizzy wondering what purpose they serve.

I've never been much for fighting games, but I could watch hours of this video just for the batshit character designs.

Like, I feel like I had forgotten how imaginative people could be for a while.

    The magic of editing!

Why would anyone edit a video of a fighting game match like that? Would would you do that? WHY?

Really not a fan of these new PATV episodes. They have the style of a gaming stream without any of the charm of interaction and they are edited down so they aren't even just strait first 15 play videos.

Especially considering its on the Unreal Engine! Pretty convinced the people behind Xrd are wizards.

Super excited for more episodes to come out! Loving the new series so far.

I too would have liked to see more. I get ending Cabella's as soon as possible, but Mike and Jerry actually seemed to be enjoying this one. Who gains by ending it early?

Now I know why Capcom hasn't followed much up on their DarkStalkers IP.

    Guilty Gear did it better.
