Dani's parents shouldn't be allowed to have children! You had a child who loved you both and just because your child made you money doesn't mean that you should love them differently, and it certainly doesn't mean that if they fall from stardom you should abandon them! It's not like a money press that you throw away when it stops working, it's your child! Please kill yourselves you walking punchlines.
Oh, wow. I follow the Camp Strip since the beginning, proudly took part of the Kickstarter, but this strip made me create an account just to comment. Congratulations. This works in so many levels, perfectly blending Dani's tale with Malachi ongoing arc. You managed to bring up several different emotions in few panels. Very, very well done.
Fun facts: Dani has been in the comics as far back as the third comic. The ex-bunkmates have potentially had a crush on him for a long time, as shown by potential Dani fanart in their bunk. http://campcomic.com/comic/59
Its ok we are here for you Cardboardpizza. I can see that hit a little close to home Mr. Culkin, mind if I call you Macaulay? We love you no matter what or how old you get.
I think the real story behind all these heartbreaking back stories is that parents are evil and cannot be trusted! Maybe, maybe not (but probably yes).
I like to think that GDEDM stands for "God Damn Electronic Dance Music" but I could totally be wrong about that.
At the risk of seeming like a horrible person, am I the only one who can't get over the fact that Dani actually says the word "badder" in his song?
He needed something to rhyme with gladder.
Pop stars, especially the teen heartthrob variety, aren't known for being grammatically correct in their music.

Still trying to figure out BIP. "Boy Is Pretty?"

Every time a character's backstory is revealed, my heart aches :c
From now on, that's what Bip stands for.
Originally, it was just a lazy variation of Bop.

Unfortunately for Danni, his parents are Grammar Nazis, and by using the word "badder," he caused his own parents to leave him.
As soon as you see that word, things went very bad very fast for him. Poor guy.
