How come no big brawl happens in the super villain pen?

Because the cops in the station would probably just taze the shit outta all of them. Admittedly, I'd like to see that happen, though.

Wrapped up all the riddles. Took my time driving Nigma back to GCPD.

    In NG+ I did this.

    That's right buddy.
    I caught you first.

Incidentally for those who are curious the cutscene doesn't change at all including how Catwoman addresses Bats.

That is a good idea. A really good idea.

Has no one else mentioned how fucking weird it is that the cops have shrines to super villains and murderers with guided audio tours?

    Okay, 200% complete!
Still got one showcase item locked, though. Anyone know what it is/how to unlock it?

It's been fun, but I think I'm done until all the DLC stuff comes out, and I can see if it's worth coming back for.

These riddles are an absolute chore, and yet I didn't mind them in the previous games. Did't help that I managed to completely miss the Freeze Grenade until what looks to be the final mission (95%).

I think it's the placement. You seem to come across them more organically in the Asylum and City. So by the time you are done with the story you can easily have over half of them. I finished Knight with 20 riddles competed.

I think the Batmobile is partly to blame as well. In the previous game if you needed to tug on a winch or break some walls you could just use the Batclaw (And in fact you could quickfire it). Now it's barely used at all and you're constantly having to summon the tank. Mechanically you're doing the same thing as previous games but it just takes longer.

    Anyway.... 70 to go. :/

I'd say the biggest problem with the way riddler trophies feel (for the record, I like them) is that they come in waves, ie after each big story beat there are a load more spawned in. So there a lot that you could come across as you progress, but they just are not spawned yet when you get there.

What I found much more frustrating was informants telling you where trophies are going to be, but they aren't there yet/the mechanism isn't in place (Movie studios I'm looking at you)

Got to give Riddler credit, he not only managed to get into secure Bat-facilities and supervillain lairs without getting caught, but he could devise actual riddles for events that haven't even happened yet.
Narcissism complex aside, The Riddler is actually as good as he says he is.

The riddle trophies are "loaded" this way because people complained that the green splashy riddles everywhere ruined the ambience of the main story.

It was a much requested feature.

So they listened and genuinely attempted to please. I can't fault that.

There are a lot of them but I enjoyed collecting them. The most disappointing thing about Origins was how pathetic the "puzzles" were. All the unique puzzles in this one forced me to think. There's plenty of random ? lying around but it also makes you more familiar with the levels and areas. I'm pretty knowledgeable about the city in general now and various stages. On replay I'm using the setpieces more comfortably and know where to go in the city.
I learned something of value. Playing the story you are frequently stuck in your ways and don't climb all over the place trying to find things, so you don't realise eg oh shit this tunnel actually goes all the way through this predator room. Wow. That's cool.

Eh, I'll take "I don't have the tool to get this trophy yet" over "Where the hell is this invisible trophy I can see on my map?" or "What the hell activates that switch, it's right there and not connected to anything!" every time. I must have spent at least half an hour buggering around looking for those before I moved the story on and poof suddenly they work.

Shrug. Enough people asked for it. I don't get everything I want in sequels either. Sometimes they remove bits I really like because they weren't popular enough. That's life.

I like having them sprinkled about more and more as the game progresses. What would have been great though would be a thug saying "I know he's going to plant one here" and then have the map icon be a different color or something.

I also wish that I could snap a pic of the puzzle to remember it for later. Sometimes the trophy isn't visible (or there yet), but I definitely found a thing I'll need to come back to later.

I actually found that the normal ? on the map were also basically puzzles this time. It made them hard to find, but a lot of them took a lot of thought. They were cunningly placed.
The riddles were brutal. Some of them had little relation to the icon.
I completely failed to figure out several of them and had to resort to guides. I am fail Batman.

Well, I 100%'d the story earlier. The game was fun but has tons and tons of faults that make it feel more like a step backwards from City rather than the ultimate send off the series really deserved, which is a shame.

Actually he built them to make his riddles.
That's why they all appear suddenly and there are sometimes robots hanging around and he complains that it wasn't finished yet.

His robot army marches out while you are busy in some secret lair and constructs the riddles.

Aint nobody can build riddles like robots.
I really like the part where he talks about how he built religion into them. They are supposed to worship him as a god. So when you use the voice translator box to command them, they are unintentionally committing blasphemy.

    Riddler puzzle:
It was pretty satisfying to march like seven disciple-bots into certain death. I didn't even do 'em all at once. I did batches. They saw. They knew what would happen. They did it anyway. Crunch.

But main story complete, got a few more sidequest things to do. Including an ungodly amount of "riddles"

Hmm... down to one breakable in...
The airship, can't seem to find it. There's a riddler trophy in a case but I can't drop the box out of the airship for plot reasons, but this last breakable is just... a ninja.

Going to do one more sweep since the rule is if you post about it, you find it. but yeah...

    edit: yep, found it. It's
Under the stairs in the room where you find Stagg, the ones to the right of the entrance.

    That's a thing? I need to find
the third opera music body, and the second Azrael mission. Serious, I've been to every high vantage point and can't find a giant flaming bat symbol.

If you want to find stuff like the bodies and flaming symbols, just clear the flying drones (and possibly towers too) and when the choppers start flying again, they'll occasionally spot them for you.

Keep in mind, they actually talk about the things they're shining their light on, so if you hear radio chatter about finding something, look for where the choppers are shining their lights, they usually hover there looking at them for a little bit making it easier to see.

This is also neat in that if you happen to be under one of them, the choppers start talking about you. Beating up a ton of thugs? They radio in that you're kicking ass. Funny stuff.

Edit: Last flaming symbol is in a place they won't fly though, it's:
On top of the statue of liberty looking thing in the center. At least I personally never saw a chopper there.

Fly over them, hit X (on a controller) and he'll jump on and lay down some bat-bomb-gel before leaping off.
