I think the fact that it's consistent is what lets me sort of tune it out. It's the worst in the beginning, but eventually it just becomes really obnoxious white noise to me.
Kids complaining or screaming or yelling is way more inconsistent and impossible to get used to. Plus there's the added annoyance of feeling like someone should be able to control them.
Resignation is way more tolerable to me than frustration.
I... wasn't ready for this
goddamn
it's pretty much the only thing happening in my brain at any given time
They do in first class, not in economy. They don't normally care as long as it is clear you are traveling together. Make up a dumb story about an injury or blood clots or w/e, doesn't matter as long as it would seem rude to make you switch back.
Yeah, you've evolved to be distressed by babies making distressed noises. It's the worst.
She made multiple jokes about bestiality.
Amazing!
They surgically extracted GTA IV's attempt at serious storytelling and it turned out well.
It feels a lot like that ol' show Reaper, with Ray Wise as the devil. Very similar tone. Gonna be goooood.
I stand by this statement in the new paradigm.
USS Bogart-Rhesus cruelly destroyed by the traitorous USS Cesca-Japan-Raven. Space Cadets: Dice Duels proves itself yet again to be the most fun six people can have with dice and plastic spaceships. We also solved a murder and spectacularly fluffed a secondary case in Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective, and humanity was brutally expunged by Cylons in BSG. I blame Rhesus for looking like a Cylon when he wasn't. My own President Admiral Adama was above all suspicion, naturally.
Boardgames! It's what's for dinner.

Cats evolved to make distressed noises that sound like baby noise. Our cats noticeably changed how they meowed after Henry was born, to match his sound.
I'm not expecting it to be great, but there were enough good things in that trailer that I want to see them play out.
Let's play Mario Kart or something...
Imagine a plane where all your fellow passengers are this parrot
Play Fallen London as well! It's excellent.
I actually couldn't get into SS too much. The pace of the game is very slow, and it's entirely unlike Fallen London in terms of how much you need to know to take a productive action.
No, Shiv. Bad, Shiv. Only pleasant thought experiments are allowed while people are this hung over.
I agree 100%
This was a much better offering than the first one.
Except because they are smaller, you can fit more of them into the plane.
Imagine a plane where your fellow passengers have been transformed into an equal biomass of parrots.
Aren't birds pretty low density? That would be a fairly jam packed plane, and they would probably not be efficient at using space.
Or the lavatories.
SSS Esperanto, thank you.
And I was the littlest Cylon that could! Y'all rumbled me much too late, nyahahaha

Now to see how arduous Samsung is going to make this process.
The thing was one my most well researched tech buys ever, I spent a lot of time reading reviews about affordable TVs. This was basically the last Samsung TV that has basically no Smart-TV options, which means that more money went towards quality of the screen and the UI was simpler. (Most midtier smartTV have atrocious UIs because they have more features than their processing power can bear)
According to this random site: http://oai.dtic.mil/oai/oai?verb=getRecord&metadataPrefix=html&identifier=ADA266452
The density of birds is like, around .8ish grams per cubic centimeters.
Humans generally float, so our density is <1 gram per cubic centimeter.
Their density is at least 4/5ths ours, so I don't think they're super not dense. The issue would be more that there are more of them, so you gain density from them not being packed together as a person would.
I took a peek! YEAH LOOKS DUMB!
It's neat seeing things that we saw getting filmed a couple weeks ago, tho.
I am sure I am on some search watch list, because the query "density of human" is a serial-killer type query written and pluralized as an extraterrestrial would.
Somewhere around the second semester of organic chemistry I gave up caring what government agencies would make of my search history.
He actually did demand we address him as President Admiral
I have mentioned this a zillion times, but my autocomplete for "form" gives both "formaldehyde" and "formal dresses."
I get targetted ads for egg donation and dresses, and also obscure antibodies.
It's the best.
No words on the quality of the script or treatment or anything, but I like how he looks as the joker.
Let's play Mario Kart or something...
