Does anyone know of any website or service where I can send an image as a fax? It's fine if it's not free as long as it is reliable / not scammy.

    Your local kinkos and probably your fedex office will do that. You could probably even call them and do it over the phone and email.

    and I wonder about my neighbors even though I don't have them
    but they're listening to every word I say

    Most postal companies will do faxes. It's pretty cheap (not free), quick, and reliable.

    I've heard hellofax.com mentioned positively. It's online so probably easy, and you can get a free trial, but I've never used it myself so I don't know too much.
