ROCKET LEAGUE is a high-action frenetic multiplayer online soccer battle arena (HAFMOSBA), known as "soccar" in the Long Island area of the USA. It is a video game where up to eight cars that may or may not be remote controlled get to flip into a giant, exploding soccer ball. It is a video game for Playstation 4 and PC! And you can play one another, on both! At the same time!!

    The only thing more fun than crushing some shit-talkers in a rematch so hard that they rage-quit is doing so with a pair of randoms with no voicechat.

    Sadly, this means the shit-talkers didn't get a chance to be informed of their scrublord status in the post match. Which is a shame, because one of them had a FuZe clantag in their name and those guys need to be reminded daily of their scrublord status.

    After screwing around for a bit I dipped into the multiplayer, and next thing I know, it's three hours later.

    It's so simple, but this might be the best multi game I've ever played.

    I don't think I've ever had a faster or harder turn around on a game as I just had with this one, download it and start in on the tutorials and I'm loving it, super fun and zippy to drive and and flip and boost around. Then I start an exhibition match with rookie bots and I immediately remember why I can't play soccer, I spent the entire match chasing the ball around like a fucking clown, it ends 0-5 against us and I managed to touch the ball with my car maybe five times, that was so fucking frustrating I taste copper

    the trick is to stop chasing the ball, because yeah, only one person is going to get there first and when you're learning that probably isn't you. Back off, watch the play and try to anticipate where the ball is going/watch for it to get booted away from the mosh pit, which is when you dash in and ram it in the general direction of the other team's side.

    Also play 1v1 for a while, you'll get a lot more practise if you're not chasing your own teammates to get to the ball first.

    I dunno man, I appreciate the advice but I just don't think I can hack soccer, I'm trying some 1v1 but it still feels like I'm chewing on glass here. Tell you what though if there were trackmania style courses with no goddamn ball I'd be all over it
