Aside from one really, incredibly and intentionally obvious stand-in situation, they did a really good job of cutting around that, yeah.
(Arrested Development did have that really good Tobias and Lindsey yelling across their giant house gag)
I was wondering how they'd wrap it all up. And the short answer is... they didn't. No immediate cliffhangers, but threads here and there left for the inevitable next season.
A pretty solid first series though, and highly recommended.
