    Unrelated to PAX, but for those who go to Comic-Con here in Seattle, the date on the WSCC site isn't correct, the con starts April 7th and goes through April 10th as it has expanded to four days, the site is showing April 8-10th.

    As of today, Pax West site doesn't have dates and WSCC doesn't either.
    Anyone got that info available to post for us chronic planners?

    This will be my first time going to a PAX event. I was supposed to go this week for South but I wasn't able to take off of work... West is far out there enough to build up vacation time and ask for that week off. I'm really excited :D

    yes the dates were printed in the PAX South program guide given out to all attendees it's confirmed to be Sept 2-5 , 2016 in Seattle

    I've been thinking about this myself. They say the optimal window to buy tickets is 114-27 days prior to the day you are traveling. In this case that starts on May 10th. Which is also coincidentally right when badges are likely to go on sale.

    However that is an average (and those can be very misleading alone) over all US domestic travel. For a city like Seattle that doesn't have a huge airport, PAX & Bumbershoot (they are concurrent this year) probably use up a majority if not all of its capacity on the couple days before and after the weekend. So I'm not desperate to buy tickets ASAP, but I will buy them as soon as they are at a good price.

    I would expect that to be around June/July if there is a need for new Enforcers. Last year there was not, so keep that in mind.

    I agree but the dates for East are now in April this year instead of March like last year. Tickets for Prime went on sale right in the beginning of May last year, so if that was their same window this year, it might not be enough turnaround time.

    If they wait till East is over, the tickets could go on sale much later in May, but it might be more likely that they put them up before East happens. I'm pulling for tickets post-East though, would be nice to not worry till then.

    EDIT: Nevermind, looks like they already addressed that concern!

    That was last year though, they may still be planning to do it earlier now.

    time to have tweetdeck on, going for West instead of East this year.

    The tweet from penny arcade seems a bit strange though.



    Although the fact they do not announce ahead of time, this may just be them playing with us or saying it will not happen for a while.

    Either way time to keep our guards up a bit.
