Sims seem like perfect couch gaming experiences. Actually, since you can hook up a mouse and keyboard to a console pretty easily these days (you can right? I mean, it's just bluetooth), 4x games would be a great fit too.

Sure, but there are ways to make them work with controllers, which is the way that 90% of that user base would play them.
Tropico, while not as deep as something like Civ, works just fine without a keyboard.
Is Scalebound still that MMO thing Platinum was working on?
Because an MMO with platinum content would be my most perfect thing. But that gameplay video was scripted as all hell though and the thought of a party of 4 of THAT kind of beastmaster would be hilariously amazing and terrible.
Dragonhand and Dragontrigger and modern clothes was cool though.

Yeah, I know. It's just that the biggest reason I hear why people prefer RTS's and 4x's on PC is because of interface, and that's not as much of an issue on consoles today.
Cities is also a pretty barebones game in some regards, highly enhanced by a large mod library. It's always a question how much of that makes it to the consoles.
20 player Fighter Squadron mode announced for Battlefront. All air combat, hero units are stuff like the Falcon and Slave I. Apparently no space maps though, it's all atmosphere.

The player count makes me REAL sad though
I forgot to mention there's 20 AI ships flying around too. Not super great, but it's at least double.

Im pretty annoyed that a Total War hasnt come out on consoles yet, since they would work perfectly fine (at least single player) on a controller, since you dont need twitch gaming and basically spend battles paused.
The fact that theyre working on Halo Wars 2 makes me hopeful though

what game really has more than that though?
Battlefield 4 was 64 players, Im not asking for that but why not 20v20 in Fighter Squadron?

Dodging doesn't seem like it will be as OP as Bloodborne, but it looks slightly snappier than Dark Souls 2.
...oh, Gamescom. Never mind.
This is cool. More sim games on consoles please.
I love jargon.
