Swing music - Similar music pieces like these two

I've been attending swing lessons and been listening heavily to its music genre to get into the rhythm.

One very popular piece is Benny Goodman's Sing, Sing, Sing:

Listen to the drums in the beginning and its "jungle"-like characteristics. I'm looking for more music of that type.

A more "recent" example is from the movie Mask with Royal Crown Revue's Hey Pachuco:

Again, we have the "jungle"-like drums and rhythm, giving the piece an overall fast beat.

Do you know of any other pieces which incorporates drums like this? If so, I would like to hear it.

Great music

while not 100% swing, they do have some. Scott Bradlee and the Post Modern Jukebox. They do covers of current pop songs in New Orleans Blues, Jazz, Swing, Pop, full orchestral, etc. I find them amazing

I was involved in a swing club in college; I learned east coast swing, then graduated into lindy-hop, which everyone else was in to. Triple-step, triple-step, rock-step :biggrin: Good times. It's the best dance, really. Just a lot of fun.

There's a dance hall that offers introductory lessons once a week, and which I go to every so often with meetup.

Lot's of fun, surprisingly easy to learn (at least the basics) and some of the nicest people I met.
