Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. We were told they would be back and bigger and better. What do we know about PAX South so far? From Gabriel's front page item titled "PAX Dev Schedule is out!" from 5 days ago.

That 2nd note both delights and scares the hell out of me, because it is, I think, the first time they've given this much notice for PAX tickets since maybe the early days (I'm not even sure if the early days they did it this far in advance).
There is, of course, 2 PAXes between now and when tickets go on sale, plus a third between now and when PAX South will actually originate, but last year's thread started around the first week of July (because that's when tickets went on sale last year). This (mid-September) seems more likely to be the norm going forward, I'll wager (or not).
Anyway, it's a PAX! There are games of all sizes, shapes, colors, and styles, along with music and cool folks and nerds and cool nerds. Who is going??

Fun fact: I found an express deal on Priceline for the weekend for $80/night for a hotel in the Riverwalk and it wound up being the Menger. So I'll have an even shorter walk to/from the convention center.
