PAX Prime 2015 Tabletop Tournaments and Organized Play Events (at the Hyatt Olive 8 Hotel)

We know you love Tabletop. And playing games in the Freeplay rooms is awesome!

But sometimes you just crave competition.

Join us for some organized play with PAX's Tabletop Tournaments, held on the third floor of the Hyatt Olive 8 Hotel (at the corner of Olive and 8th). Sign-ups open 10:00 AM each day for that day’s events, in the Ballroom on the 3rd Floor. Please arrive 15 minutes before your event for check-in. For events with First Round Heats: You may join ANY Heat of an event to qualify for later rounds. Some of the tournaments will use expansions - inquire at sign-up for specifics. Please remember, a Badge is required to participate in all PAX events.

Privateer Press may have something going on in their space in the Expo Hall on the Skybridge, but they did not work with me for this Prime to set up any events in our tournament room.

Ugh... The first year I went to pax they had a huge event, I was really excited to try it out the next year since I had just picked up their starter set. Unfortunately they haven't done anything of note ever since. Ah well, thanks for the info! I'm really tempted to try out that munchkin tournament.

I'm tempted to bring my old YGO deck out of retirement for the traditional tournament, last time it came out was for Prime 2012 where it took first place :biggrin:

Note: This will take place in the Olive 8 3rd Floor Cobalt Room

Registration begins at 12:00PM, Event starts at 1:00PM
Each player should bring 50 point lists and ships for both Imperial and Rebels. Players will be randomly assigned a side. Scum and Villainy 50 point lists will be able join either side of the Epic battle. FFG will supply Huge ships for each side, but players who wish to escalate the game are encouraged to bring their own to add to the fun! Hosted by Fantasy Flight Games.


This will show up in Guidebook within a day or two.

A small clarification for the Friday X-Wing Dogfight Tournament - you should bring with you your own 100-point list. Sorry for omitting this small, but vitally important detail.
