$1 is infinitely much more expensive than free. WhatsApp is great for during PAX, but sucks so much for our continuous community interactions.

Most of us are in both I'm sure but Slack is probably easier to join as you'd have to contact someone who is an admin in the WhatsApp to add you. Luckily that's pretty easy to do either through Slack or the WhatsApp thread here.

It's an email invite, so whatever email address you want as your username should be typed there, and you'll get an invite.
